Battlefield 3

I've had a good week of playing games this week and managed to catch up a little bit with my challenge.

I know i let it go a little but i'm sure i can still manage to get it done :)

Anyway game number 38/52 was Battlefield 3. I really enjoyed the main game and the storyline but i was always frustrated by the fact that when i died (which for me happens a lot) i went back to the last checkpoint which for the most part seemed to be hours before it.

Overall a great game but let down by the lack of checkpoints/save points which just caused frustration, so an 8/10 from me.

Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception

The third in the Uncharted Series, it is an amazing series that really does the PS3 justice in the awesome graphics and amazing gameplay.

This is game 37/52 so i'm still a few away from finishing the 52 game challenge but i think i may just be able to do it.

I loved this just as much if not more than Uncharted 2 and i really do think it deserves the 10/10 that Uncharted 2 got also.

i cant wait for more in the series

Modern Warfare 3

Another Call of Duty, another 5 or 6 hours of blast through fun and yet i still found it pretty decent.

Not the best of the series, the first Modern Warfare still takes that title but some of the set-ups and plays on this were brilliant.

it is game 36/52 and with being busy at college and playing FIFA i dont know if i'll make the 52 games but i;m still going to try.

rating wise a fairly sturdy 8/10 for this one.

Bodycount

I've been neglecting my Game Challenge for the last month or so as theres not really been much out there that i really wanted to play.

However i'm back on the track now and with Bodycount making game 35/52 i'm still on track to hit the 52 game target this year.

Bodycount is a pretty basic first person shooter and isn't anything particularly special. The graphics are very arcadey and the storyline is only slightly better than awful.

It is quite a quick blast through and was good to get me back on the horse so to speak.

Ratings wise it's at best a 5/10 game.

Dante's Inferno

Dante's Inferno becomes the 34th game of my 52 game challenge to be completed.

I really wasn't sure about it but it really is very God of War like (which i still need to do ) and i really enjoyed it, some of the puzzles had me scratching my head a little but the graphics and gameplay in this game are simply amazing.

I found some bits a lot more difficult that others but that just added to the enjoyment of this game

Ratings wise it's definately up there with a 9/10, i really did enjoy this game.

Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters

Another late(ish) night and another game added to the completed pile as Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters becomes game number 33/52 and the third so far this week to be completed.

i've been making a real effort this week to bash through some games and get back in front as i know there will be times when i'm at college and working hard that gaming might not be as easy.

Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters is a half decent game, some bad design elements and really frustrating parts let it down on occasion but overall it's pretty decent.

The 3D element isnt worth having on this game and is pretty lame to be fair.

Ratings wise a slightly above average 6/10

Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Another busy week for me games wise as i cracked game number 32/52 with Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is certainly no CoD shooter, it's way better than that. The whole feel of the game including the mass destruction and different weapons make it a whole lot more enjoyable than probably all but Modern Warfare (the first one) which really rewrote the book on First person shooters with a storyline.

I prefer the one character method of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 over the multi character ones of CoD games.

Rating wise it's a very very good 9/10 and with an awesome multi-player its well worth a shot.
